Purpose: The Assistant Non-Foods Manager works as part of a team to stock and arrange merchandise while ensuring each customer receives "Extra Step" customer service. Job Functions: • Provide "Extra Step" customer service to every customer • Operate equipment (e.g. safety cutter, baler, electric & manual hand jack) • Count and sort incoming products to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices • Examine stock for damaged product and place in designated areas • Order product using order gun and maintain product inventory • Break down loads and move cases of product to aisles using two or six wheeler • Match order codes, UPC codes, or product descriptions to shelf tags before stocking shelves • Stock shelves, rotate product, and condition aisles, according to policies for leveling and facing • Set up and take down displays and/or shelves according to manager's instructions • Order signs and make signs using the proper signage template • Clear aisles...
